This is a fun project wherein I challenged myself to illustrate with only the pen tool in Illustrator to create graphics for a packaging design contest for Azealia Banks' CHEAPYXO soap line. I didn't win the contest but I was satisfied with the end result of this little experiment. Illustrating with pen tool in this style is a new trick up my sleeve.

For the contest mechanics, she wanted an anime version of herself with blue hair and heterochroma irises (much like her look in her Yung Rapunxel music video). Illustrating anime style is not my strong suit so I tried to fulfill the mechanics and work my way around it so this soapbox has two different illustrations to supply what she wanted. She also wanted to incorporate the lightning bold in the design. I also came up with a slogan for the product.
